Justin De Jong
(pronouced "de young")
I was raised in Vermont by my father, a builder, and moved to Durham over 20 years ago. I own a charming historic home in downtown where I raised my four children. Over the years, I've invested a lot of love and effort into my house, understanding how significant a home can be for many.
My second son, Zeke, now works-time with me, and my two older kids help out occasionally. Running a family business allows me to stay close to my children while teaching them the value of hard work in pursuing their dreams.
I strive to do my job to the best of my ability and welcome challenges. I enjoy creative problem-solving for unique or older home designs, gutter installations, and repairs. My priority is to keep your home clean and dry. I chose to specialize in gutters to protect homeowners from water damage, which can lead to various issues, safeguarding property value and preventing mold and mildew. I want to ensure you're satisfied with the work do at Gutter & Spout Co, and I would love to discuss your project with you!

Ezekiel "Zeke" De Jong
I grew up in Durham, learning all kinds of things from my Father, Justin; carpentry and handyman skills for starters. I have had the privilege of working on many houses alongside him during my childhood.
Being home-schooled as a kid, I learned to live in the moment and work at whatever interested me. I landed on a family business after I finished up high school. I truly enjoy meeting interesting people from all walks of life. I find great reward working for them, making their beautiful homes a little bit (sometimes a lot) better, safer and less prone to water damage.
If you need gutter repairs, installations, cleaning, or gutter guards, I'm your man! I work to honor my word and get the job done right!

Life & Work
Lee was born and raised in Hillsborough, NC. Alongside his brother, Dustin, Lee grew up learning a plethora of skills, many from his father. Among them were hunting, fishing, outdoor survival, carpentry, and the Japanese martial art form Wado-ryu. After going to NC State for horticulture, Lee went to chef school, eventually opening a food-truck business with his brother . He later became a blade-smith, founding his incredible brand, Maestranza Blades. We are thrilled and privileged to have such a masterfully skilled artisan on the Gutter and Spout team!!
